2022 Semi-Epic Road Trip: Day 1: Wisconsin State Fair

 Miles: 408

Foods Eaten: calamari rings, pot stickers, grilled cheese sandwiches, cherry slushy, popcorn shrimp, footlong hot dog, cone of baby pickles, cookie dough on a stick and cream puffs. (counting as ice cream.)

Foods Avoided: Gummy Bear Brats,  Deep fried pickle cheese curd tacos

Memories:

Danny: Got a Cow hat, dry hot dog bun

Gordon: Ferris Wheel

Grace: What did we really do?

Therese: Noticing both kids wearing MN State Fair T-shirts

I mean...what can I say - we drove to the fair and ate stuff.

The Wisconsin State Fair is probably about 1/10th the size of the MN state fair. The midway was very small and there weren't any of the large exhibit halls for crafts, agriculture, etc. But it was fun nevertheless. Although we deemed ourselves wimps after reviewing the food list.  Very little protein and only one thing on a stick.

Pictures probably speak better than words when it comes to the state fair so here we go:

We will be tracking the ripening of this Mango during our trip. Also - notice the MN State Fair T-Shirts
