Day six: Canton, NY

Travel Note: The Scottish Inn has been outsourced to India. Each time we walk into the office building we pass through two Hindu symbols on either side of the threshold. Every morning incense burns on the front porch. A nice antidote to the teeny tiny stuffy room.

Road Food: Red Button Bakery Rocks!

The Run Down: After a late night arrival, we finally got to see Grandma Lois first thing in the morning. Danny of course remembered exactly which apartment she lived in.

We invaded her apartment. The kids had practiced a little concert which they performed for their Grandma. Then we headed off to the Canton Farmers' Market. We got some wonderful fresh produce including peaches and plumbs. Then it was back to Grandma Lois to share our haul.

After a quick trip back to our tiny motel room, we went out to eat with Lois. We headed to a wonderful restaurant and called it a very good day.
